Futureefs is a short film exploring the potential of genetically modified coral reefs designed to withstand extreme temperatures and combat future heatwaves.

As climate change accelerates, the story begins with scientists meticulously experimenting on baby corals, determined to engineer a resilient species capable of thriving in warming waters. Only the strongest will survive. Once ready, these genetically modified corals are transported to the ocean and transplanted alongside dying reefs. Over time, they flourish, integrate into the ecosystem, and help revive marine biodiversity.

This film is a collaborative project, where I took charge of the overall graphics, background scenes, and asset design.
